FAQ’s

  • I offer self-pay, and payment is required at time of service. For most lactation services, you will receive a Super Bill that will have all the information you need to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please reach out with your specific questions and we will discuss your needs.

  • I hold a few spaces on my caseload to accommodate sliding scale clients; please reach out to see if I have any available at the moment.

  • Milk production starts around 16 weeks gestation. I offer support and education on how to navigate a lactation journey when you have had a miscarriage, stillbirth, or death of your breastfeeding infant. This includes a plan for quick involution or building a supply for donation. Having had a miscarriage myself, I meet you where you are.

  • I offer in-home consultations for most cities in NY (Rockland and Orange Counties), and in NJ (Bergen, Passaic, Hudson, Essex, and Morris Counties). Telehealth is available globally.

  • Yes!

  • Lactation consultations and supplies can be covered under your HSA/FSA. Some of those items might include prenatal vitamins, breast pumps, accessories & replacement parts, hands-free nursing bras, disposable breast pads, nipple pads/shields, milk storage bags, milk bottles, birth control, etc. Some insurance companies may require a letter of medical necessity for breast pumps, some may consider pumping or nursing bras “attire” and may not be eligible for these benefits. Look into your individual HSA/FSA guidelines for more information.
